2014 Golden HEART Award
It is with great pleasure to grant our third annual Golden HEART Award to Carol Treible!
Carol Treible was selected for her abundant cooperation and professional support to HEARTS’ Alcohol Prevention Project throughout Georgia. She donated not only financially to HEARTS but also much of her time to this project.
Carol has worked with HEARTS as a Local Evaluation Activities Coordinator (LEAC) the last couple of years. In addition to working in Region 6, she has attended educational trainings, worked with the other five regions and the HEARTS administrative staff on various components of the alcohol prevention grant.
As the LEAC, she has gained a wealth of knowledge about the importance of alcohol prevention with individuals nine to twenty–five-years-old and the positive impact that the designated grant funding and activities can have in local communities. The journey getting to know the dynamics of the local communities and the residents, followed by participating in writing the Strategic, Implementation and Evaluation Plans has highlighted that in each local community there is a very committed group of worker bees and officials that really want to make their communities safe, nurturing and good places to live and raise a family.
Thanks, Carol, for being a partner with us. We appreciate you!
