Brenda Gragg was selected for the Golden HEART Award in recognition of her years of service to her communities!
Brenda Gragg has been an active member of the STEP Up Toccoa Workgroup for several years. In the recent start of the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Project (ASAPP), Brenda was extremely helpful in guiding Susan Harris as the new Community Involvement Specialist from HEARTS for Families to quickly connect with the Toccoa and Lavonia communities. Brenda provided assistance during recent community readiness survey process and has created substantial network opportunities with other agencies in the community.
Brenda has a servant’s heart and cares deeply for her community through dedicating her life to serving others and enriching this community. Under the recently completed multi-year Alcohol Prevention Project (APP), Brenda served in the creation of the first STEP Up Toccoa Workgroup and was very active in her role as the Local Evaluation Activities Coordinator. In this role, she served the Toccoa and Lavonia communities to build community capacity to address underage drinking as community and family health issues.
Brenda is currently is employed by the Salvation Army in the Toccoa Office serving Stephens County as well as by the Mountain Judicial Circuit Family Dependency Treatment Court. Brenda Gragg exemplifies a Golden HEART in all that she does! Congratulations Brenda!
