The Children’s Bureau recently release it’s 24th annual report: Child Maltreatment 2013. While the overall rates of victimization declined in Georgia by 18%, from a total of 23,249 victims to 19,062 victims in 2009 to 2013, child abuse and neglect are still very real issues in Georgia and the United States.
