Welcome Anita Shankle to the HEARTS for Families Team!
HEARTS would like to introduce our newest employee and a great addition to our HEARTS family, Anita Shankle. Anita joined the HEARTS family in August, after working in Administration at another non-profit organization for more than 13 years. She is our newest Community Resource Specialist and Project Assistant.
Born and raised in Gainesville GA, she graduated from Gainesville High School, and earned a BS Degree in Psychology from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl., in May of 2012 with future plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Her personal desire is to see people’s lives changed for the better, as they are equipped with the proper tools needed to matriculate through life, obtain their desired passions, and fulfill their purpose, both spiritually and professionally.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, reading, and serving in ministry Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA.
Amazed by the grace and favor that God has over her life, Anita attributes all things to Christ. She is the oldest daughter of Dr. Richard and Beverly Haynes. She currently resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and is the proud mother of three adult children, Marissa (William) who is a graduate of Valdosta State University and is a Dance Teacher in Jacksonville, NC, and Richard Lewis, who is a recent graduate of Georgetown University and works for the CINTAS Corporation in Largo, MD.
