When a community organization engages with HEARTS:
Organizational staff and members are trained to deliver programs to their clients and/or community members
HEARTS can provide trained facilitators to deliver online or live-streamed evidence-based programs, workshops, etc. to local families
HEARTS can provide community-capacity building activities, such as a:
Community needs assessment, including
Community demographics narrative with charts identifying various target populations
Primary and secondary data sources, such as community surveys and local data collected by education, medical, government, law enforcement and other community-based systems
Community and/or organizational capacity assessment including:
Strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats analysis
Community Readiness Assessment
Capacity Gaps Analysis
Recommendation section for strengthening project staff and its resources
Strategic Plan based on the needs identified through the community needs assessment, including:
Specific Strategy Steps
Identification of person(s) responsible for carrying out specific steps
Timeline
Evaluation Plan to identify if the strategies are indeed effective and making a difference in individuals as well as the community.
Program Facilitators receive effective training which in turn helps to ensure program participants have the best opportunity for success.
Faith-Based Organizations are the ultimate prevention organizations on the planet. HEARTS support local churches and synagogues to help fulfill their respective mission.
State & Federal Agencies are confident that the best practices and scientific methods are being used to support grant funding while serving community members.
Community Groups increased their access to effective methods in building their capacity and providing qualified tools to help families and other local organizations to be the best they can be.
